About

Kari is a Houston area native who grew up with a passion for creativity and has been a lover of art since childhood.  She has enjoyed taking a variety of art classes throughout her life.  A reflection of those methods are layered in her work along with, experimentation and self-taught processes.  She is currently completing her degree in Art Studies at the Herberger Institute for Design and the Arts at ASU. 

Kari finds inspiration for her paintings through the life and nature that surround her travels...cities, cultures, patterns, architecture and design all influence her work. The aspects of life that give it beauty and meaning are expressed through her art.

As someone with a love for interior design, she appreciates that a distinctive piece of abstract art can be a focal point in a given space, compliment the surrounding area, and set a tone of ultimate taste and originality. 

Kari is proud to live in and be a part of the beautiful community in the stunning and magical Sedona...where the red rocks meet the sky!
